Is flying a concern with WMD and GA? How soon after the shot can you fly?

. Those are some very good questions. I couldn't find anything in our archives about injections and air travel. Hopefully, others in the community will chime in with their own experiences. Have you talked to your doctor about flying? Maybe the drug manufacturer can answer the question about how soon you can fly after an injection. I have wet AMD in left eye, geographic atrophy in right. When I was visiting in Panama last year I had to fly to Miami for my shots every 6 weeks. I would get my shots then fly back to Panama the next day. I did this 2 times and had no problem at all with my eyes.
thank you, I think that is what I will be doing only from Chicago to UF . Good to hear no issue with flying.
