New PreserVision Areds3 Formula

PreserVision has come out with a new Areds3 Formula.

It has added some new supplements to the mix and the zinc is down to 25mg when you take 2

The website has it as coming soon but it is already out. You can get it at Walmart.com

  1. Areds2 didn't help me at all.

    1. I looked over the formula of the Ared3 and it has most of the same ingredients that is in my supplements plus my supplements have ingredients for dry eyes and cataracts.

    2. I wish that I could take Neurobella Eye Formula and Sight Care to cut down on supplements but they both have alpha lipoic acid which I am allergic to. So I have to take Areds and the rest separately.

  2. Thanks for sharing this information and the links, . Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

  3. I always figured I could never tell if it helped or not. If it was working, it was slowing down the progression of my MD. But how much would it have progressed if I hadn't taken it? I had to trust the results of the clinical trials.

Say, year after years, they compared the two groups to see if one did better than the other. If it had any effect, then that effect was large enough for me to feel okay spending some money on it. Of course I wore sun glasses faithfuly after the diagnosis.

Thanks, Chuck, or tracking AREDS-3 down at Walmart!

    1. when I started taking the Sight Care I saw positive results within the first week. I added the Neurobella Eye Formula just a couple days ago and I swear I can all ready see better. But I believe that since I have been taking Sight Care for 14 months that it may be giving me a boost.
What I have read about Neurobella is that most people don't see results for about a month. It has three key ingredients that our eyes needs slow macular degeneration.

  4. I plan to check it out and discuss with my doctor. Thanks for sharing.

    1. What they added was B vitamins. They did some scientific studies and found that B vitamins help to slow down the progression of those who already have AMD and reduce the risk for those who have a family history so this is good new for your family members who don't have it yet and would like to prevent it. If you are already taking B vitamins than with Preservision 3 you would be able to take 1 supplement instead of 2. They reduced the zinc to 25mg per 2 soft gels so you would need to ask your doctor if 25mg a day of zinc is right for you.

The Preservision 3 link that I put in my initial post has the Vitamin B study link and is located at the bottom of the Preservision 3 page that you can print off and give to your doctor if you are not already taking B vitamins.
