Up Close & Personal: An Interview With Mike Campbell on Technology

When you get the hard news to stop driving, you might want to “Be like Mike!” In this brief video, Mike Campbell explains how he extended his driving capabilities after he was told to stop driving. He also discusses other technology he uses to enhance his lifestyle as he not only lives, but thrives, with macular degeneration.

Active and independent

Mike is retired and resides in a community of 55 and older active adults in Fishers, Indiana. He still lives alone, remains very active and lives a productive life in spite of having very little central vision. He is certainly an inspiration for all with MD and proof that life does go on after diagnosis - in fact, a very full, independent life!
