Myopic Degeneration Progressing

Hi all, I’ve posted here before. I’m 55, diagnosed just over a year ago with myopic degeneration.

Epiretinal membrane and macular edema

Here is the latest. Went for a second opinion with a retina specialist in Boston today. My son drove me 🙏. I had a macular bleed a year ago which has resolved but left distorted central vision. Today I found out I have an epiretinal membrane in that eye and macular edema in both eyes and some other changes.

I will need surgery for the epiretinal membrane sometime soon. Just reaching out to find out if anyone here with myopic MD has had these sorts of challenges.
