I will have my first shot in June. I have 2 retina docs. One totally believes in the new shot one would do it for me if I wanted it since my one eye has progressed very quick since 6 months. Anybody had the shot yet? Any opinion on the shot? Thanks

that is so exciting. One of our patient leaders was in the clinical trials. She shared her experience and thoughts on the injection for dry AMD in this article https://maculardegeneration.net/living/thoughts-on-syfovre We are all anxiously awaiting results from those that get the injection. Please keep us posted. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader

best of luck with the new treatment. I hope it slows the progression. I see my retinal specialist in November and hope he starts treatment. Keep us updated. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader

I see two docs in totally different offices. One is connected with the university of Miami and has done trials. He wants me to have the shot. His office is out of my insurance plan so my copay would be higher. Nobody yet can tell me how much yet. The other younger doc worked with this doc on trials and moved to a different office. His office is in my plan and he would try to get the shot for me. I would be his first patient and my copay should be less, but still nobody knows how much yet. I will keep you up to date.
