Peptide Therapy

I have heard of potential peptide therapies for retina diseases. It is difficult for me to read and follow these subject matters.

Has anyone heard of these possibilities, and perhaps more important has a retina specialist who is informed on this matter?

  1. Hi . We don't have any information on peptide therapies in our archives, but from my light research, it seems to be an emerging option that might soon become an effective alternative to injections. Here is a study from the National Institutes of Health that might interest you. Maybe you can print it out in large, bold font: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/peptide-eye-drops-may-help-protect-vision.
I hope you get feedback from others in the community. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. Thank you. Yes, I have seen some of these - difficult to understand without serious study and understanding.

My (new) doctor is mostly ambivalent and has confidence in Vabysmo for wet AMD, which I am confident to say was caused by a year of Syfovre injections at another practice.
