Has anyone started injections for GA?
I have been getting Lucentis injections for about 15 years, which has helped me greatly. I only drive in daylight, and familiar areas. I will be 92 years this June, and I live alone. I still see the beauty of our world, and colors are still with me, thank God for that. My wonderful Retina Specials tells me I have GA, suggests I start injection for that as well. At the ripe, wonderful old age, I am hesitant to start another round of injections on top of the Lucentis. Does anyone out there take the injections for GA? Gloria Russell
It sounds like you have done well with 15 years of injections for wet AMD. What a blessing to still be able to drive! I developed GA last year. I began treatment with Izervay in December. I get an injection every 60 days. I haven’t experienced any problems with the injection. Keep us posted if you decide to start treatment. Warmly, Sharon Moore patient leader
