I stumbled upon e-scoop glasses produced in the Netherlands on the internet. After much research, I finally found a place within a two hour drive that had e-scoop glasses in the USA. One place was in Louisiana . I had someone drive me there and had high hopes for what the product could do to help me. It was a huge disappointment that they seemed no better than regular eyeglasses that were also of no help. I was told that there were two types of responses from patients that tried them. Either, WOW, or nothing. I guess they work for some people but not for everyone. I sadly fell into the not for me category. Definitely no "Wow" effect.
They sounded like the perfect solution but my eye docs all told me that they would not help and save myself the trip. I hoped to prove them wrong but they were unfortunately correct. I still think the trip was worth it as I would never have been satisfied until I tried them.
If someone has access to trying them, I would say, "go for it". You may be the one to have the "wow" effect. You never know until you try. They are more expensive than a regular prescription but far less than telescopic lenses.
