Hi . I hope the blurriness resolves. Did your doctor prescribe anything that might help? Blurry vision is a common issue for people with macular degeneration, but it can have a couple of different causes and it isn't always related to MD. Did your doctor mention a more specific diagnosis? I ask because blurriness in only one eye that is related to inflammation is often caused by a macular pucker. Here is an article about it that might interest you: https://maculardegeneration.net/clinical/macular-degeneration-pucker. If that's what's happened to you, the only real treatment is surgery, though many people forego the surgery and learn to adjust to the blurriness. I hope others jump in here with their own experiences and that your blurriness doesn't last. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

I feel terrible that you have an infection, but glad that it's something curable. I hope the antibiotics help and that the inflammation goes down soon. - Lori (Team Member)
