2.5 Years, No Injections
I have wet AMD in both eyes, diagnosed 9/21.
An eye-healthy diet
I take AREDS2 twice a day, eat green vegetables daily, and in addition to this, I take a sublingual supplement twice a day. It costs about $200 for a 3-month supply. It is a liquid supplement placed under your tongue in the morning and before bedtime.
Not cured, but stable
I have had NO bleeding or liquid leaks in 2 years and 6 months in either eye. I have had NO injections for 2 years and 6 months also. Avastin was the injection used. I see my retina specialist every 4 months.
I'm 77 and hope this continues. I'm not cured, but I am stable.
