Wet AMD Treatment
I am receiving Eylea — right eye. I am on a 4-week schedule as RA is keeping a lid on any advancement.
A changing injection schedule
Was on 6-week (as I recall), but leakage into retina started, so back to 4 weeks.
Yesterday had injection — always goes smoothly. However, the effects of the Betadine lasted well into evening yesterday (1:30 PM appointment).
Better aftercare is needed
I do believe the eye was not irrigated enough after the procedure. A big dose of water is required and I am going to bring this up at next visit — for every visit.
The tech was in a hurry, so I didn't get as much as usual.They are usually pretty good but not yesterday.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone else had the experience of not enough rinsing of the eye?
