Progression and Injections

I was told about 6 years ago that I had macular degeneration. At the time it was the dry kind. Six months ago it had progressed to wet in my right eye. All I could see was a big black blob.

I could not read the chart with my right eye. Very scary. My doctor sent me to a retina specialist. she explained what was happening and told me to start the shot.

It worked for about six months, and then it was spread out to 3 months which was too long. The black spot came back. Now I have to start all over again. The doctor recommended Eyela.

After reading about the side effects I am very nervous. I am getting it next week.

I hope it works...thank you for this site, it gives some insight into what is happening.
