No Shower for 3 Days After Treatment
My story is very brief.
A week after my treatment, I experienced irritation in my "bad" eye, the one with wet AMD. This had never happened before, and it was puzzling.
Treating eye irritation with eye drops
I treated it with eye drops, and after a couple of days, it cleared up. But I was puzzled; I have paid strict attention to the "no shower for 3 days after an injection" direction.
Steam from the dishwasher was the problem
One evening, I was working in the kitchen, and the dishwasher had finished its cycle. I opened the door to let out the steam and, in doing so, let out a steady stream of water in the form of steam directly into my face and, of course, my eyes.
It was obviously the source of my problem. This is just a note of caution on the opening of dishwashers.
