Shifting Gears and Adapting to New Circumstances

I'm a 78 y.o. retired social services case manager, a wife with a caring husband, and the mother of a wonderful daughter. I'm passionate about so many things, love reading and learning new things, sewing, art, and the outdoors, among many other things.

Over the years, numerous physical conditions have taught me that it takes time to adjust to each new loss but being flexible and willing to focus on what I can do makes things so much easier.

I've had wet macular degeneration for a number of years but I do everything I can to help myself retain what sight I still have. My retina specialist is an awesome and skilled doctor and I have a lot of faith in his care of my eyes.
