Eye Injection Schedule

I've had around 10-12 injections so far. The very 1st one scared me to death to see the needle coming, but it did not hurt. Nor did my eye hurt after the shot.

The next several shots did not hurt either, only a tired feeling and of course the blurriness that comes along with it. I usually go home and rest until the dilation of my eyes wears off. One time my eye hurt like the devil. I couldn't keep it open, it was so painful. I kept a warm cloth over my eye for a while.

More pain this time

After a bit, I even taped my eyelid shut, as it hurt to have my eye open. I don't know why it hurt that time. Same shot, same doctor. But it's the only time my eye actually hurt for quite a while. I was on Avastin then and am now on Eyelea, except for the last shot I had. The doctor said they didn't get the meds in time because of the holiday. So, I got another Avastin shot.

Slight improvement of vision

Next time I'll know not to schedule a visit around the holidays, because of the mail situation. All in all my shots have been fine. My vision even slightly improved at one point, but now that it will not really get back anywhere near where it was before.

My left eye had dry at the moment and I pray to God it stays that way.
