Depth Perception Change
About fifteen years age I was diagnosed with wet and dry MD.
I received an extremely painful shot in my eye to stop the bleeding, From then I went to once a month injections, but the damage was done. I have a large grey spot in the middle of my right eye.
The bleeding has stopped (so far) and that is good news, but is ion is not good at all in that eye. I had bleeding in my left eye as well, but apparently we caught. That before I lost any vision.
Now I am plagued with severe loss of depth perception and I have not been able to drive for the last five years. That is a terrible loss for me because I WAS a very independent person. I enjoy reading but I have to have large print.
I have been reading some other experience on this forum and there seems to some treatment available although my doctor has not advised me on any of these treatments. How do I find out if there is anything that can be done for me? I would appreciate any information that might help me.
