AMD Improvement With No Treatment
In early March 23 I was diagnosed with wet AMD in both eyes and was advised by my ophthalmologist to start injections into both eyes.
In the last 3 months my wet AMD in my left eye has changed to dry AMD and the right eye is also improving with no new growth of blood vessels (Wet AMD but no CNVM). I have not been started on the VEGF injections and have been told to have my eyes examined again in 3 months.
Can wet AMD improve to dry AMD? I am totally confused by what has happened.
