Side effect of injection treatment for wet macular degeneration
My injection was 6 weeks ago, newly diagnosed. Post-injection my sight in the treated eye which has always been nearsighted, got significantly worse. It was blurry, just like being a lot more nearsighted. I have been afraid to get another injection without knowing what caused this, but the doctor who gave it was no help. Incredibly, she denied there was any connection and refused to speculate on what it was. I still see okay with my glasses. Any ideas what this could be? I'm desperate to find out. I have cataracts so they may be involved.

. Cataracts have definitely made my vision blurrier, mostly due to the limited light intake, but that might not be your issue. Have you considered getting a second opinion? If you like the second doctor, maybe you will find you want to switch. You need and deserve to have your concerns addressed. Warmly, Lori (Team Member)
