Scared to death...

I went to my surgeon yesterday thinking I had a secondary cataract. It was a Macular Bleed. I see a retina specialist Tuesday and I'm scared. I told a couple of friends and they had the most horrible stories. I had never felt so alone...

  1. It sounds as though your surgeon suspects the bleed is wet macular degeneration. It can be quite a shock. My Mom had wet macular degeneration for many years and could still enjoy reading and watching television until she passed away at 88.
