Treatment when leakage stops. Did you have "just in case" injections?

If your wet macular degeneration appeared to dry up for a while (the leakage stopped), did your retinal specialist continue to give you injections for a period "just in case?" How long and how often did these injections continue when there was no leakage? Or did the injections cease immediately the leakage stopped? Wendy, Patient Leader.

  1. Wendy, what a great question indeed! A retina specialist should know the answer so that we could have the joy of no more needles while the wet macula decides to go dry, lol! Adela

    1. You seem to be well informed about it, so I wish you the very best. Nighty Night, Adela

    2. thanks Adela. Wendy, Patient Leader.

  2. Sorry, I should've added that it's difficult to most of today's health professionals to be thorough enough due to the high number of patients...

    1. yes, I agree. Retina Specialists see a lot of patients and have to apportion their time carefully. Wendy, Patient Leader.
