Supplemental Insurance for 2023 -eye injections
Is anyone finding that supplemental medical health insurance for 2023 that their eye injections will not be covered under their supplemental carrier? I have Aetna Health Care insurance, Plan F. I have been getting eye injections since 8-2020. My Medicare & Supplemental insurance has always covered the expense. Aetna is trying to denie me coverage for 2023 because of macular degeneration.
I was under the impression that our supplemental insurance once we were accepted as a patient couldn’t deny coverage for pre existing. Have you been with Aetna since 2020?
