Stroke and injections
I have been getting injections since 2/23. This past Monday I had a stroke. I am on Plavix which I have to take for 30 days then 5 days later I can get my injection. I was due for an injection coming up 4/3/24. Has anyone had a stroke since starting the injections? Is anyone on Plavix and has to stop it for 5 days to get an injection?
I am so sorry about the stroke. I can’t offer any medical advice. Your doctor should guide any decision in regards to the Plavix. I hope you are able to work out the health concerns for a good outcome. Keep us posted. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader 
Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear about you having a stroke. I hope that you're feeling okay. Unfortunately, we are not medical professionals and are unable to provide any medical advice, so if you haven't done so already, I definitely suggest talking to your PCP or retina specialist about any correlation with your stroke and any treatment you're receiving for MD. I hope that someone who has had a similar experience is able to chime in here and provide you with any comfort or guidance.
