New treatments
I saw someone post there was a new treatment .but I can't find it
there are new treatments for the advanced form of dry macular degeneration called geographic atrophy (GA). They are injections of either Izervay or Syfovre. They are a treatment not a cure and they aren't available everywhere yet. Best wishes, Wendy, Patient Leader. No this guy said there was something better than eye injections.
I'm not aware of any new, approved treatment for dry amd other than the injections. There are studies or trials in progress relating to stem cells and gene therapy, and red light treatment. If you find the post, please let me know. Wendy, Patient Leader.
