Floaters and distortion.

Dose anyone have bad floaties and distortion in white light areas.and what can we do to cope with it.

  1. I have a lot of floaters with lots of different shapes. I see them more clearly (unfortunately) when I look at a plain background like a wall or an expanse of clear sky. I'm not quite sure I know what white light is or where you experience white light. Wendy, Patient Leader.

    1. I meant white walls and sky.

      1. I empathize with your situation. I have lots of floaters. So many floaters that my retinal specialist brought up surgery. I am blessed in that my brain ignores them most of the time. I can see them clearly against a white wall or the sky as you mentioned. A vitrectomy is the procedure to remove them. My husband had this surgery for a macular hole and is a difficult recovery.
