New discovery?

Hello Folks,

I'm in my late 40's with a lot of drusens, clock is ticking, so I am always looking around for some breakthrough discovery to slow down the inevitable. This one popped up recently:

I was trying to understand if this LPC-DHA can already be found either in supplements or food.

What do you think?

  1. I read the article you referenced. It seems it has only been used in mice and is challenging to use for the eyes. Your question would be good to ask your eye doctor. This article talks about sources for LPC-DHA https://sortathing.com/food-nutrition/lpc-dha-omega-3-fatty-acids/

    1. Thank you. The part I don't understand is when they say
"For the study, researchers created a new lysophospholipid form of DHA, or LPC-DHA"
      as it was something syntetic

However the article you linked shows it as something quite common
This other one seems to suggest is mostly on fish roe
