How to Lower VEGF Levels with Food, Supplements, and Lifestyle Changes

I wondered if there was a way to lower VEGF levels in the body to lower the chances of getting Wet AMD due to high VEGF levels and so I found the information on this a Diabetes website about Diabetic Retinopathy since this too is brought on by high VEGF levels as it does with Wet AMD.

  1. Hi . Thanks for sharing the article. Researchers have found that similar dietary and lifestyle changes can slow the progression of age-related macular degeneration, so it's definitely worth trying. Here is an article from our editorial team about lifestyle changes that can be helpful for people with AMD: https://maculardegeneration.net/lifestyle-changes. I hope this helps and that you and that you are able to avoid ever progressing to the wet stage. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
