Coping with Dry AMD

I have dry AMD in my right eye. What can I do to try to keep it from getting worse or turning into wet AMD? I take AREDS-2 as directed but am not sure what else if anything there is that helps. I also have glaucoma.

  1. there are some lifestyle changes you can make that may help slow the progression. Don’t smoke. It is the #1 modifiable risk factor. A Mediterranean style diet is recommended along with regular exercise. It is important to protect your eyes from sun exposure with sunglasses. A wrap around style is best.
