Another tool to slow progression of dry AMD . . . LUMI THERA

Lumi Thera treatments were not available in the U.S,, so I went to Switzerland for three weeks and received them. At the close of the treatments, I could read one more line on the eye chart! There are no side effects. Now, thankfully, Lumi Thera has been approved by the FDA. There may only be two U.S. locations so far. One is in Garden Grove, CA; I travel 40 miles to it. The retinologist gives a complete eye exam before the starting treatment. I am so excited with Lumi Thera, and hope I have the same result as in Switzerland. 😀 😀 😀

  1. sounds so promising 🤩 I hope it's available widely soon

    1. Where is the other location? Do you know?

      1. Thanks for that. I will ask my RS when I see him in a few weeks. We've talked about it, but I am hoping he knows more now.

      2. My RS doesn't think it's so great. But I experienced a positive increase in my vision, so I go by my personal experience.

    2. GOOD LUCK
