A Letter to Macular Degeneration
If you could write a letter to your macular degeneration, what would you say?
Use this thread as an opportunity to vent. This is a safe space for you.
I would say to my macular degeneration "If you have to progress, please do it slowly! Wait until the new treatment has been tried and tested, or preferably, don't progress at all!" Wendy, Patient Leader. 
I want to find out how patients are feeling about the new medication that was approved for macular this year in February. I see my retina eye specialist tomorrow.
to date none of our community members have posted anything on the new treatment. We are all anxiously awaiting reports, hopefully positive results. Please post an update after you see your retinal specialist. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader
