Tips and Advice

I am wondering about devices and/or computer software that will help those of us with central vision loss, especially with accessing and reading emails, balancing checking accounts, and being able to read bank statements. I've read about a CCTV, Ruby and MaxTV or MaxDetail glasses. Does anyone have experience with these devices and their ability to help with what the activities I listed? Thank you!
