With the holidays coming up, how do you plan to practice self care? What is most important to you?

  1. trying to avoid stress is top of my list coming in to this holiday period. It is a shame that a time that is meant to be joyful can also be so stressful. I am going to take time to relax and try not to get "uptight" about anything. Wendy, Advocate.

    1. we have chosen to have a much simpler Christmas celebration this year. That decision has relieved a lot of stress I felt in past years. As the eldest in my family I was always the host. I am so glad that my brother has taken all that responsibility now. I unlike so many I don’t have to travel so I do not have that worry. Wishing you a happy new year, Sharon Moore Advocate

      1. , I will be spending the day at my daughter’s. Last year Covid kept me home alone. This year we are all vaccinated, so I’ll be caring for my mental health by celebrating with my small family. Happy holidays, Cora Lyn, MacularDegeneration.net Team Member
