What helps you relax during stressful times?

Whether it’s experiencing vision changes, awaiting an upcoming eye injection, or something unrelated to macular degeneration, we all feel overwhelmed from time to time. What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities that help you get your mind off things and relax during stressful times?

  1. My “go-to” for stress is nature and the outdoors. It’s also being quiet and just observing and breathing.

  2. I enjoy art journaling. It is creative and relaxing. I lose myself in the process.
    Practicing mindfulness also helps.
