What are the primary side effects you experience after injection appointments? Any tips on how to manage them? Would love to hear from you!

At first I was getting them once a month in my right eye.My left eye i have no front vision because I waited about a month to get looked at.It was too late to help me.It is so important to get looked at if any vision changes.I know that now.

When I had my first injection of Avastan I had black circles and black irregular patterns for about 24 hours, I also took ibuprophen for any discomfort. When I began my injections of Eylea I could see the swirl from the medication for about 2 hours. The injection site remained irritated for about a day. I am now beginning injections in my other eye. My Dr. is also putting Prednisone drops after the injections which seems to help to recover quite a lot

Only very minor discomfort following injections (12 to date). Chlorohexadine used instead of iodine, Mask worn for rest of day and overnight for 3 nights to avoid unintentional rubbing of eye. Antiseptic drops used four times a day for the following seven days.
