In need of a support group
My boyfriend had macular degeneration, he's depressed and I just realized how much I love him. Help a sister out.
Your boyfriend is blessed to have a supportive partner. Depression is not uncommon among those diagnosed with macular degeneration. Some of our community members have sought help from professional counseling. Would he consider joining our Facebook group and also this online community? He would find everyone here very supportive. Go to Facebook and click on search. Type in Maculardegeneration.net. It should pull up the FB group, click join and you are all set. Feel free to join the group yourself.
