Importance of lens implant prescription
I have myopic Macular Degeneration. When I saw a retinal specialist yesterday, he was EXTATIC when I gave him the cards I had been given 30 years ago with my lens implant prescription following cataract surgery. He said they seldom give those to people anymore unless asked and it was very helpful in establishing correct diagnosis and treatment.
Might be a good idea to get this info if post-cataract surgery or going to have the surgery. When I moved 17 years ago, my new eye doctor was also quite happy to get the info on the cards.
