Essential oils
Has anyone tried essential oils. I don’t know weather to believe articles or not
I have not tried them though some swear by them. I can’t find any any clinical studies demonstrating their benefit for macular degeneration. I found a lot of testimonials making claims they helped their vision. My comment is just my personal opinion.You may want to ask your doctor about their benefit. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader my doctors just told me to take fish oil and leutine. Should I see a specialist? I was diagnosed by my optometrist with early stage macular degeneration. Initially I was not referred to a retinal specialist. At my next annual checkup I asked for a referral. Both my mom and sister had wet macular degeneration and I felt more confident seeing a specialist trained to treat macular degeneration. I can’t advise you on the health supplements. Early stage. I have seen a specialist too. I also have cataracts. Specialist offered no advice either, just return in a year. I don’t know if there is anything else I should do.
