Dry macular degeneration

I was diagnosed with dry macular and the doctor wants to give me a shot in the right eye he informed me that they have no idea if it works and could cause complications how do you make a decision

  1. Doing your research will help you and your doctor in making the decision. Did he diagnose you with advanced dry macular degeneration or geographic atrophy? I am attaching 2 links so you can read for yourself. My doctor did want to give Syfovre except as a last resort.
