Dry macular degeneration
I was in shock when my eye doctor told me the year before that I was fine. She had me begin using PreserVision AREDS. I researched and that was all that could be done. The wet kind can have shots and drops. I had noticed a few months before diagnosis that my eyes were becoming more bloodshot. Has anyone else noticed this?
it certainly can be a shock when we are diagnosed. Is your's the dry kind? I haven't heard any community members mention bloodshot eyes, but many people also seem to have dry eyes and use lubricating drops. Have you read the recommendations for trying a Mediterranean-style diet? Wendy, Patient Leader.
