computer keyboard

I'm asking for advice. My computer keyboard is somewhat hard to see, but not too difficult. Has anyone trie thed stick-on labels for the keys? My computer doesn't have backlit keys.

Thanks

Sara

  1. I have a full size HP keyboard and added the Bold stickers. They work well and are easy to see. They stick like crazy too. I used tweezers to get them placed and they don't look bad at all . I got mine at Amazon. Good luck and happy typing. They have really helped me. Debby Gentry

    1. Yes! I purchased a set of bright "fluorescent" yellow stick-on PVC letter/number/symbol labels about 5 years ago because the original markings on the keys of our expensive ergonomic keyboard had mostly worn off. The stickers have been EXCELLENT! Completely solved the problem. All stickers have lasted intact and are as bright as when brand new. The keys are quite visible in even very low light. Highly recommended. Just be careful to follow directions about thoroughly cleaning the key tops prior to applying to guarantee they'll stick well. There are many brands to choose from on Amazon, priced about $6-8.

Now, if only I could still see the monitor screen clearly for more than 5 minutes...

      1. I had the same problem. With unlit keys and lettering to small, got sticks from Amazon. Problem solved!

      2. I got a key board designed for people with reduced vision, the letters are very large and bold. I have found a white keyboard to be easier to use than the black ones. I also have a little desk lamp beside my key board to keep it well illuminated. I got my keyboard from a company that specializes in aids for the blind and reduced vision people.
