Sometimes the aim of the injections is to maintain what sight someone still has, rather than improving it. However, many people do see an improvement. Has your husband discussed with his doctor the possibility of changing medications in the shots if Eylea doesn't seem to be successful. Many people in this community move on to other medications. Regarding the eye supplements, the only ones that have been clinically proved to help for some cases of amd are the ones that conform to the AREDS2 studies.
