are there any known devices, that could help with the dry version of Macular degeneration?
my wife is suffering from the dry version of AMD. Anyone out there using any device to improve vision ?
your wife is fortunate to have a caring and supportive husband. There are devices to help your wife use the vision she has. While they don’t improve her vision they can help. I use various magnifiers from an app on my phone to a lighted hand held device. If you have access to a low vision clinic they can assess your wife’s needs and recommend aides to help her cope with vision loss. Do you know what stage she has? There is now a treatment for advanced dry macular degeneration that may help slow the progression. Regards, Sharon Moore patient leader
