How to Magnify the Screen on Your Smartphone or Tablet

Did you know that your smartphone and tablet had some amazing accessibility features already built in? In this video we’re going to take a look at the magnification gesture for both iOS and Android.

For iOS (iPhones and iPads)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click "General"
  3. Click "Accessibility"
  4. Click "Zoom"
  5. Where it says "Zoom" tap the button or slider bar

Android

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click "Accessibility"
  3. Click "Magnification"
  4. Click "Magnify with triple-tap" or "Magnify with button"
  5. Where it says "Use service" tap the button or slider bar
