Use of warm eye compress for dry eyes for a person with macular degeneration

i have chronic dry eyes as well as advanced macular degeneration. I find that warm compresses help my dry eyes tremendously. I use a Bruder microwaveable mask 1-2 times each day. that’s great. Be cautious with heating it up until you figure out how long to heat it. I usually do 30 seconds. You want it warm but too hot can be harmful to your eyes. Sharon, patient leader
