Preventative Measures and Practices

Please share things that you do in your day-to-day life that you feel help your macular degeneration from progressing.

  1. Every morning we have a daily practice that includes reading and meditation. It helps me keep positive about my condition. Plus, “paying it forward”

  2. I take my AREDS2 without fail and never miss an eye specialist's appointment. The Amsler Grid gets checked regularly and I try to eat a healthy diet. I'm trialling frozen spinach which comes in little cubes and can be thrown in almost any savoury dish. Wendy, Advocate.
