Macular and Macular Holes

I have not had a vitrectomy but my husband did for a macular hole. The surgery was successful in closing the hole that he had scarring from waiting too long. He did not have macular degeneration so I’m not sure how that would impact having the hole closed. How’s your doctor recommended surgery? Best wishes on making your decision, Sharon Moore Advocate
