Recently Diagnosed - AMD Both Eyes
I am an artist who was recently diagnosed with AMD in both eyes. Right now my vision is good but I have been very anxious since I got the diagnosis. I am finding it very difficult and constantly feel an overwhelming sense of dread. I am happy to have found this site and look forward to reading how people are coping.
Thank you for your response. I am religiously taking AREDS2 and cooking lots of kale and Swiss chard along with fruits and vegetables. My anxiety ebbs and flows which I suppose is normal. Hoping I’m doing the Amsler grid correctly. I do large abstract paintings so I haven’t experienced too much difficulty when I’m working except the lighting can be bothersome.
