Injection Protocol for EyleaHD
My dry AMD just turned to wet in my right eye. I got my second shot of EyleaHD yesterday, and the doctor said to come back in six weeks. I have looked at the clinical trial results and the dosing instructions, and they both say patients should have an injection every four weeks for 3 months and then injections may be adjusted. I am concerned that he isn't following that protocol. Is my concern justified?
Hi. I understand your concern. The Eyelea website clearly states the same dosing instructions you have stated. Are you able to find another Retinal Specialist to confer with? Might be a good idea. Or contact Eyelea and see how critical their dosing is. Present that info to your current RS. If he does not concur, I'd be looking for a new doc. Best of luck...
