  1. I must admit that the last time I was helped, I hadn't asked for it. I was about to go up the stairs into an aeroplane at a regional airport where there was no airbridge. As I was gathering myself together at the foot of the stairs on the tarmac, and shuffling my suitcase from hand to hand in order to grab the railing on the steps, who should come along but a "tall, dark and handsome" young stranger. He literally grabbed my bag and said "follow me" up the steps. I think he was carrying my suitcase with two fingers, and his bag in his other hand, as he bounded up the steps. I followed him as fast as I could, which wasn't very fast! Boy, was I grateful! I could have done it myself, otherwise I wouldn't have been there, but the help was very much appreciated. It made my day. Wendy, Advocate.

    1. what a great example of helping someone. Sometimes the best way to help is not to ask “what can I do”, but just do something that you see needing done. In your case, you needed a hand with that suitcase and I’m so glad that tall handsome stranger came along to help you out. Sharon Moore advocate
