Experiencing Dry Eyelids

Dry eyelids. I also have chronic dry eye and for the last two weeks my eyelids have become red and very dry. I do have allergies. What can I do to relieve this? I tried Vaseline and Occulast wipes from Bausch and Loumbwith no results. Any ideas would be helpful.

  1. I wish I could offer answers but only an eye doctor can help you sort it out. I hope you find what is causing your discomfort and a treatment to relieve the symptoms. Wishes, Sharon Moore team member

    1. @Theodora DeStephano I'm sorry to hear that you are having such problems with chronic dry eyes. As Sharon mentioned, an eye doctor would be the best person to help you. In the meantime, I thought you might like to have a look at our community for chronic dry eyes if you haven't already seen it. ChronicDryEye.net. I do hope you find something to help you with your dry eyes soon. Best wishes, Wendy, Advocate.

      1. Thank you so much. I found so much helpful information and have created an account there as well. I am an advocate/moderator for Parkinsons.net and am just beginning to find all the other available sites.

        1. it's good to have you in our communities, both as a member and also a advocate/moderator. I look forward to crossing paths with you again. Best wishes, Wendy, Advocate.

      2. I have had dry eyes for years. I use Systane Gel Drops. They have many different versions but get this exact wording. They are gooey but I only have to use them once a day when I wake up and they work all day. Try it!
