Central vision

How long can you keep your central vision.theres people on here who say they had AMD for 10 years and still drive.or can you keep central vision till death

  1. I have had dry macular degeneration for over ten years and I still have pretty good central vision and I still drive, although I try to avoid night driving if possible. I have taken the AREDS2 supplements since diagnosis. Both of my parents had this disease with Mom having the dry form and my Dad with the wet form. There is definitely hope that one can keep their central vision for many years. Best wishes, Wendy, Patient Leader.
